Dubai-based travel technology company TPConnects has appointed Rakshit Desai as CEO following a strategic investment by Flight Centre Travel Group. TPConnects is a leading provider of travel technology solutions focused on IATA’s NDC and ‘One Order’ initiatives.
Desai joined Roland Berger as a management consultant on finishing his MSc at the LSE, and then spent nearly 20 years turning around and scaling up businesses for Flight Centre and Thomas Cook internationally.
When asked about TPConnects, Desai said, “I am very optimistic about TPConnects’ potential and excited about working with this phenomenal team. We are well-positioned to address emerging opportunities in this rapidly evolving space.”
